Friday Favorite: Garnier SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water

If you follow me on Instagram, you probably saw this one coming LOL! I made a small post on this product to my Instagram earlier in the week.

This Friday Favorite is Garnier’s SkinActive Micellar Cleansing Water. I’d heard of micellar cleansing waters before; such as the one by Bioderma, but never really gave them a second thought. I figured they were like any other eye makeup/makeup remover.

Boy, was I wrong.

Micellar water is different in the sense that even though you shake it up like you would an oil based makeup remover, it doesn’t leave even a hint of greasy residue like ALL of my makeup removers before it did.

It’s super gentle and you don’t have to do any harsh rubbing like you do with, say, a makeup wipe. There’s no pulling or tugging when removing mascara and eyeliner from the super delicate eye area. Also, what’s great about this is that it doesn’t have to only be used on eye makeup. It can remove your entire face makeup and leaves it feeling fresh. It’s unscented so there should be no problems with it on almost ALL skin types.

Garnier’s Micellar Water retails for $8.99 and you can buy it at most drug stores and Ulta.

My Beauty Tips:

ALWAYS use a primer under your makeup. It will improve wear and extend the life of your makeup for the day.

Slightly outline your lips just outside your natural lip line

and follow with your favorite nude lipstick. This creates the illusion of a fuller lip!

When applying bronzer think about the places the sun naturally hits your face. That is wear you want to apply your bronzer to give you a natural looking false tan.
